Winter Camps
This is the flag ship service from FCC. It is a great way for all players from aged 4-13 to develop their love for the game. What to expect -
A lot of fun! All days a filled with high energy sessions, looking at getting every player engaged.
High quality coaching, delivered by our qualified staff.
Modern coaching techniques to develop players into to the modern day.
Hard ball development for those ready to develop into the next stage of their cricketing pathway.
Camps are held at Trumpington Sports Hall.
Timings
0830 - 0900 - Drop off
0900 - 0920 - Greeting
0920 - 1000 - Warm up (football, circuits, hand hockey, fielding relays)
1000 - 1030 - Topic session 1 (fielding, batting, bowling)
1030 - 1100 - Break
1100 - 1145 - Topic session 2 (netting, outfield, drills)
1145 - 1230 - Topic session 3 (netting, outfield, drills)
1230 - 1330 - Lunch
1330 - 1445 - Games
1445 - 1500 - Debrief
1500 - Pickup

We have access to the Astro turf that can be used when light rain.
If the rain is too much to play then players will use the pavilion, where they will have quizzes and other such activities.

We encourage players to use hardball, when appropriate and safe to do so.

Coaches will at the ground from 0830-1530 and so please feel free to drop off an pick up within these times.

As with all sports there is a chance of injury and as with all large group activities there is also a chance of illness.
We do not want players to lose out of sessions and so happy to move days that are missed to future camp days.
If you child is ill or injutd please feel free to send over an email or text and we can adjust the session accordingly.
